Shay Arms accepts incoming transfers. The transfer fee is $35 per item.
If the item you are searching for is in factory new condition (i.e. you are buying from an online retailer), please let us give you a price quote first. In many instances, we can match or beat a certain price on a certain item.
Used items do not require prior communication.
If the item you seek to have transferred in is purchased through a particular online retailer, there is a chance the dealer is selling the item via drop shipping just above dealer cost. FFLs are able to do this because they have no overhead costs or businesses beyond setting up dropship accounts with firearms distributors.
In this instance, and/or when a price is under MAP pricing (what manufacturers set as the minimum allowable price), we may charge a higher transfer fee, but not so high that is erodes your cost savings. We look for a win-win situation where you get an item at a reduced cost and we also make a bit more to help sustain our brick and mortar operation.
